World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys today (26th) announced a new product from the 1987 sci-fi action film "Predator": the "Predator 2.0" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, "Predator" tells the story of U.S. Army Major Alan Schaefer, often called Dutch, a special forces team leader, who leads his squad on a secret mission in the Central American jungle. However, during the mission, they encounter an unidentified and unseen alien enemy (the Predator), and the proud and skilled members of the squad are killed one after another, leaving only Dutch. This seemingly unwinnable battle takes a turn when the Predator cannot see Dutch, who is covered in mud. Dutch uses this advantage, along with pre-set traps, to prepare a decisive blow against the Predator.
Hot Toys' "Predator 2.0" stands approximately 34 cm tall and features 16 points of articulation throughout its body, fully recreating the Predator's robust physique, musculature, Yautja species skin texture, newly sculpted high-tech armor, netting, and bone trophy decorations. The iconic bio-mask's targeting system is equipped with an LED light-up function, and of course, the unmasked bare face can also be displayed. Not only are the fangs and interior of the mouth crafted with a highly biological feel, but there are also two interchangeable mouth parts to choose from, along with articulated eyes to display a wide range of expressions.
Other accessories include 6 blades that can be equipped on the right forearm, an openable device located on the left wrist gauntlet, an articulated shoulder cannon equipped on the left shoulder armor, a blood-stained skull with spine, and multiple interchangeable hands.
