Good Smile Arts Shanghai (GSAS), established in China by Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, has announced its latest product from the popular anime "Oshi no Ko": the "Kana Arima Hoodie Style Ver." 1/7 scale figure. The suggested retail price is 18,700 JPY, with an expected release in December 2025!
Kana Arima (有馬かな), a popular female character from "Oshi no Ko," was a child prodigy who could cry on cue in ten seconds. She once co-starred with Aqua and Ruby, and Aqua's overwhelming acting left a lasting impression on her. Her personality is somewhat tsundere and sharp-tongued, but to survive in the entertainment industry, she had to become more adaptable. Later, persuaded by Aqua, she joined Strawberry Productions and became an initial member of the new "B-Komachi" alongside Ruby, taking the center position.
The "Kana Arima Hoodie Style Ver." 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 13 cm tall, recreating the kneeling pose from the BD & DVD Volume 4 cover illustration~ Her somewhat pitiful appearance is incredibly endearing! The colorful hoodie features delicate overlapping shadow paintwork, emphasizing its three-dimensionality and rich texture. The hood and ribbon parts are finished with a shimmering pearlescent coating, and the hood is detachable. Great care has also been taken with her iconic red short hair, achieving the gradient effect with various colors seen in the anime, giving it a light and soft feel! The base is a plush carpet, adding a cute and warm atmosphere~
