The die-cast mini cars "TOMICA," launched by Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, are introducing a new series, "TOMICA TUNES." The second wave brings highly popular Disney-themed products: "TOMICA TUNES DISNEY CHARACTERS Vol.1," featuring a total of seven items. Each is priced at 1,320 JPY (reference price) and is scheduled for release in Japan in July 2025.
"TOMICA TUNES" is a new series with the slogan "Tune up your Tomica!" Cute characters sit in authentic TOMICA die-cast mini cars, characterized by their downcast, teary-eyed expressions! The series is inspired by people who get lost while driving, yet persist despite difficulties. It reminds toy enthusiasts that "even if we encounter difficulties in life that force us to take detours, as long as we keep moving forward, we will eventually find our way out."
The characters included in "TOMICA TUNES DISNEY CHARACTERS Vol.1" are: Stitch, Lotso, Miguel, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Baymax, plus one secret edition (a special color version of one of the six characters). Bring them home quickly and help them find their way! *The characters seated in the Tomica cannot be removed.
