After the preview released last month on JOJODAY, BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand S.H.Figuarts officially unveiled today (30th) a new product themed on "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 1: Phantom Blood" – the "Jonathan Joestar" action figure. It will retail for 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2025!
The story begins in late 19th century England, where Dio Brando's father was mistakenly believed by the nobleman George Joestar to be his savior. After his father's death, Dio was adopted by the Joestar family, becoming the adoptive brother of George's son, Jonathan. However, the malevolent Dio, seeking to seize the family fortune, used the mysterious Stone Mask to become a vampire. Ultimately, he and Jonathan, who opposed him, plunged into the Atlantic Ocean together, seemingly perishing. This event, however, merely set the stage for a century-long confrontation between the Joestar family and Dio and his successors!
This S.H.Figuarts Jonathan Joestar stands approximately 17 cm tall and features his appearance from his final confrontation with Dio in Windknight's Lot. The figure meticulously sculpts Jonathan's lean, muscular physique, with his profound facial features and costume details also finely reproduced. Accessories include five pairs of interchangeable hands, two interchangeable face parts, a backpack, the Sword of Luck and Pluck used by the brave Bruford in their final battle, and a set of golden Hamon Ripple effects that can be wrapped around his arm. Combined with its flexible articulation and dedicated display stand, collectors can recreate various poses from his decisive battle against Dio!
