Bandai Gashapon Division, Japan, will release a new product based on the popular anime "One Piece"—the "From TV animation ONE PIECE Negative Swing" (tentative translation: ネガティブスイング) Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled to be released in the third week of June 2025!
"Ghost Princess" Perona, who appeared in the Thriller Bark Arc, is a Ghost Human who ate the Horo Horo no Mi (Ghost-Ghost Fruit). She is capable of creating various ghosts under her control, and among them, her most memorable ability is the "Negative Hollows." These ghosts, after passing through an opponent, make them extremely negative, even to the point of suicidal thoughts. If it weren't for hitting the "King of Cowards" Usopp's unyielding spirit, she almost wiped out the Straw Hat Pirates!
The "Negative Swing" series is a Gashapon collection inspired by Perona's ability, transforming characters' disheartened expressions after being pierced by Negative Hollows into cute, scaled charms. Four waves of products were released from 2013 to 2015, and after 10 years, the series is finally making a comeback! This latest wave of Negative Swing charms will be themed around the Egghead Arc, featuring characters in their futuristic outfits. The collection includes five types: Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Chopper, and Jewelry Bonney. All characters, except Usopp, are depicted with negative expressions after being affected.
