Japan's SQUARE ENIX company's ADORABLE ARTS series has announced its latest product, "Zidane Tribal," based on the classic game "Final Fantasy IX." The suggested retail price is 7,480 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2025.
The protagonist of "Final Fantasy IX," Zidane Tribal, was adopted at a young age by Baku, the leader of a bandit group disguised as the Tantalus Theater Troupe. He serves as an agile thief, with no memory of events before the age of four, his origins shrouded in mystery. He has a cheerful personality, values his friends greatly, and his famous quote is, "Do you need a reason to help someone?" However, he can't resist flirting with cute girls. On Princess Garnet's 16th birthday, he participated in the princess's kidnapping... and thus the story unfolds.
The "ADORABLE ARTS Zidane Tribal" chibi figure measures approximately 10 cm in height. It infuses a chibi style into his in-game appearance, featuring a confident smile on his face, cutely capturing his agile and nimble image. It also boasts rich details in his exquisite costume and accessories, faithfully recreating the original design. In addition to a dynamic pose holding two daggers, it also includes interchangeable arms and lower body parts, allowing for various poses such as a kneeling stance.
