In a 2025 new product announcement posted on its official X account, SEGA Prize, a division of Japan's SEGA Games, revealed a new product for its "FIGURIZMα" series, known for its expressiveness, completeness, and detailed coloring. The new item, "Frieren ~The Depths of Magic~," is based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" and is scheduled to be released as a prize item in autumn/winter 2025!
"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" tells the story of Frieren, an elf protagonist with an exceptionally long lifespan. In the past, she and the hero Himmel's party defeated the Demon King. However, after Himmel's passing, she gradually came to understand the brevity and brilliance of human life. To further comprehend human emotions, Frieren embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the disciples of two of her former comrades.
This FIGURIZMα Frieren ~The Depths of Magic~ figure captures Frieren in a dynamic pose as she unleashes a magic attack. The sculpting faithfully recreates her flowing hair and clothes, complemented by a substantial amount of light green translucent effect parts to create the illusion of floating in mid-air. The front of her magic staff features a magic circle crafted from light blue translucent material, meticulously reproducing the intricate engravings. Furthermore, a whirlwind-shaped effect part is placed in front of the magic circle, exquisitely recreating the moment Frieren unleashes her magic attack!
