To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion," BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's division in Japan, under its "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series known for its sculpting and coloring, will release its latest product, the "S.H.Figuarts Shikinami Asuka Langley" action figure! The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, with an anticipated release in December 2025!
The "S.H.Figuarts Shikinami Asuka Langley" action figure stands approximately 13.5 cm tall. Based on her appearance in "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance" before her temporary injury (wearing an eyepatch), her striking red plugsuit tightly encases her slender body. While maintaining its sculpted form, flexible articulation has been incorporated: the inner thighs and knees can bend significantly, allowing for natural poses even in a duck-sitting position. In addition to the standard face, 5 types of interchangeable expression parts are included, allowing for the recreation of classic tsundere scenes such as "Anta Baka? (Are you stupid?)," glaring, anger, and blushing!
To facilitate display with the separately sold "Rei Ayanami," a special honeycomb-patterned transparent red base is included!
