BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan business division of Bandai Co., Ltd. in Japan, has announced the latest product from its popular Shokugan series, "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA": "Gyan Kai", scheduled for release in November 2025.
MS-15K Gyan Kai is an original mobile suit appearing in Gundam video games such as the "SD Gundam G Generation" series and "Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE". It is set as a prototype mobile suit developed by Axis before the outbreak of the First Neo Zeon War, based on the famous Zeon mobile suit "Gyan" from the One Year War. Inheriting the original machine's design specialized for close-quarters combat, it integrates the latest Neo Zeon military technology with the "movable frame" technology secretly provided by Anaheim Electronics. Its overall performance surpasses that of the "Bawoo" developed concurrently. Its armaments include a "Large Beam Saber" longer than its main body and a "Shield" with built-in small missiles.
"G-FRAME FA Gyan Kai"'s overall design combines the body proportions from the game's design sketches with the characteristic detailed style of the G-FRAME FA series. It reproduces the cool silver-white armor with completely new molding, while the frame is a dedicated frame based on the "Gyan" from the sixth installment, with modified chest, abdomen, waist, and leg parts.
The entire body features silver, gray, and red molded parts to recreate the setting colors, and intricate surface details are sculpted. Armaments include a substantial Large Beam Saber, beam effect parts, and a shield, which, coupled with the flexible movable joint design throughout the body, allows for dynamic sword-wielding and defensive poses.
