From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, the 1/144 scale Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" series, known for its most diverse range of mobile suits, has announced the commercialization of the "HG 1/144 GQuuuuuuX (Endymion Unit Awakening Ver.)" from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX". Further details are expected to be released at a later date.
In a timeline where the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War, the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX is the first Gundam manufactured by the Principality of Zeon military in Universal Century 0085, also known as "Gundam QuuuuuuX". This mobile suit boasts extremely superior mobility, capable of agile movements in space. Its most significant feature is the newly developed "Omega Brainwave Conduction System". Once activated, control switches from analog to brainwave control, allowing the mobile suit to instantly adopt offensive and defensive postures based on the pilot's direct thoughts and reactions. However, this also demands exceptionally high aptitude and skill from the pilot, and prolonged use can even place a considerable burden on them.
Currently, only in-development CG images have been revealed for the "HG 1/144 GQuuuuuuX (Endymion Unit Awakening Ver.)". The kit is based on the previously released standard version, with newly sculpted head parts and effect parts added to recreate the awakened state of the "Omega Brainwave Conduction System's" true form, the "Endymion Unit".
