Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, under its action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts," has officially unveiled a new product based on the popular anime "Haikyuu!!" — the "Shoyo Hinata" action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 8,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2025!
"Haikyuu!!" is a volleyball-themed anime series originally created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate and adapted by Japanese animation studio Production I.G. The story follows the protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, who, despite his short stature, possesses an immense passion for volleyball. After joining the Karasuno High School volleyball team, once a powerhouse, he and his teammates overcome challenges, facing strong opponents one after another, as they strive towards the goal of becoming national champions.
This S.H.Figuarts Shoyo Hinata, at approximately 14.5 cm tall, perfectly captures Hinata's compact physique. It features him in his Karasuno dark team uniform, with sculpted arm musculature and detailed wrinkles on the clothing. The paintwork faithfully reproduces his iconic orange hair and the printing on his jersey. Even the kneepads and the volleyball shoes, inspired by ASICS, are meticulously recreated, with the sole patterns accurately restored without compromise!
For articulation, the shoulders feature butterfly joints, while the elbows and knees utilize double-jointed articulation, allowing for easy posing in dynamic actions such as blocking, spiking, or receiving! Accessories include four sets of interchangeable hands, four interchangeable face parts, a flowing hair part, a volleyball, and a dedicated stand. It can be displayed alongside the simultaneously revealed Tobio Kageyama to recreate scenes of their synchronized minus-tempo quick attack!
