The Danish toy company LEGO's Architecture series has unveiled its latest product, item number 21063, featuring the stunningly beautiful and magnificent palace located in Schwangau, Bavaria, Germany – "Neuschwanstein Castle"! It is scheduled for release on August 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$279.99.
Construction of Neuschwanstein Castle (Schloss Neuschwanstein) began in the late 19th century as the private residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Today, Neuschwanstein Castle is not only Germany's most popular attraction but also considered one of the most dreamlike travel destinations in all of Europe. For many toy enthusiasts, there's another familiar association: Neuschwanstein Castle also served as the inspiration for Disney's castles. Now, you can build your very own Neuschwanstein Castle with LEGO!
This set contains a total of 3455 pieces, and once assembled, it measures approximately 31 cm in height and 46 cm in length. The overall presentation of the model is reminiscent of the ">Himeji Castle LEGO set we previously enjoyed, featuring a black base frame and starting the build from the natural environment surrounding the main structure, resulting in a breathtaking finished scene. Beyond the elegant exterior construction and brick detailing, the biggest highlight is likely the printed window pieces, which represent Neuschwanstein Castle's numerous rooms and diverse architectural styles. Furthermore, the surrounding trees can be freely interchanged to display the beauty of different seasons.
