Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO recently announced a new product for the "Masters of the Universe" theme—the "Man-E-Faces (Timed Edition)" 1/6 scale articulated figure. With a suggested retail price of $260 USD, pre-orders will open on the MONDO official website on July 1st at noon CT, for a limited period of one week, with an estimated shipping date of March 2026!
Man-E-Faces possesses the ability to change his facial expressions, which he uses to intimidate others. However, his actions are not driven by malice, but rather by personal insecurity and fundamental survival needs. He is a social outcast, an anomaly who, due to prolonged misunderstanding, began to abuse others as a way to compensate for his own psychological trauma. Man-E-Faces was once captured by Skeletor and forced to join his ranks, but due to his inherently non-evil nature, he refused the recruitment. He was then controlled by Beast Man's power and compelled to fight He-Man.
This 1/6 scale articulated figure of Man-E-Faces stands approximately 33 cm tall, crafted based on his appearance in various past products and works. The sculpting showcases his incredibly lean and muscular physique, while the design team has created intricate stylistic details for his space suit, significantly enhancing the overall visual impact! The biggest highlight this time is the inclusion of three interchangeable head sculpts, each featuring four faces, inspired by classic mini-comics and previously unreleased manuscripts from Mark Taylor, one of the original creators of the Masters of the Universe series. In addition to the classic human, robot, and lizard faces, an extra 9 styles are included, greatly increasing the playability and variety!
Furthermore, accessories include a head sculpt without a helmet, a small blaster, a large blaster, a weapon mace, and the timid dwarf lookout Squinch. These can be combined with the figure's flexible articulation and previously released Valiant Warriors of Eternia to create various scenes!
