Bandai's Gashapon division will release a new product featuring several classic Sanrio characters – the "Yokai Transformation Figure" capsule toys. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in the third week of July 2025!
This "Yokai Transformation Figure" series transforms popular Sanrio stars into Japanese folklore yokai, creating mini character figures. The lineup includes Hello Kitty as a Kitsune (fox spirit), Hangyodon as a Kappa, Pompompurin as a Nurikabe, Kuromi as an Oni (demon), and Cinnamoroll as a Tanuki-Mata (two-tailed raccoon dog). These figures add distinctive yokai features to the characters' inherent cuteness, with Hangyodon and Kuromi looking seamlessly integrated! Furthermore, each character is posed in a walking motion, allowing for an irresistible display of Sanrio stars in a "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons" lineup!
