Japan's Bandai Gashapon division, following the well-received 'Capture Squad', is once again taking the popular game "Monster Hunter" as its theme to launch 'Monster Hunter Capture Squad Subspecies/Rare Species'. There will be a total of 5 types, with a reference price of 500 JPY per capsule, and is scheduled to be released in July 2025.
Launched with the concept of capturing monsters, 'Monster Hunter Capture Squad Subspecies/Rare Species' continues the series' characteristic of exquisitely sculpting the monsters' defeated, sprawled-out poses in an approximate 6 cm size! The five popular monsters appearing this time are: Zinogre Subspecies, Mizutsune Rare Species, Nargacuga Rare Species, and Diablos Subspecies. They are rendered with different body colors from their original species, recreating the even rarer and more uncommon Subspecies/Rare Species color schemes. Details like scales and claws are meticulously carved, and the base adopts the sandy terrain of the game's world. Sprawled on it, they look pitiful yet adorable – makes you really want to capture them!
