Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's "TOMICA" (トミカ/TOMICA) brand, known for its DREAM TOMICA series which features collaborations with various popular franchises, will release a luxurious new set, the "PEANUTS 75th Anniversary DREAM TOMICA Collection", on August 16, 2025! The suggested retail price is 5,280 JPY (tax included).
This new collection, celebrating the 75th anniversary of "Peanuts" in 2025, features a total of six styles to collect. Among them are three bus colors (black, yellow, and white) and three Snoopy-themed vehicles. The buses also have many characters and fun patterns printed on their windows. The editor personally wants the yellow bus the most! It features Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, and Lucy Van Pelt – so joyful! The Snoopy-themed vehicles have long ears or noses, and their colors are also primarily black, white, and yellow.
However, according to the official website, this collection set will be randomly assorted. While 5,280 JPY is indeed the price for a box of six, there's no guarantee that you'll collect six different car models at once; duplicates are possible. How devious!
