Japan's Good Smile Company has announced its latest product from "Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun," the "Nanachi New Outfit Ver." (ナナチ 新衣装Ver.) 1/8 scale figure! It is scheduled for release in May 2026, with a suggested retail price of 19,800 JPY.
This figure stands approximately 19.5 cm tall, with its overall design based on Nanachi's new appearance from the latter half of the TV anime "Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun," after regaining their resolve. From the eye-catching blue helmet and golden hair ornament to the wide pants that fit Nanachi's physique, all are meticulously sculpted with intricate details and clothing wrinkles. The gradient colors and weathering effects are also beautifully rendered. The editor personally believes the biggest selling point is definitely the incredibly cheerful, dynamic pose and the sculpting of the soft fur! The large long ears, tail, and fur truly exude a fluffy visual effect (and they feel like they'd smell wonderful), making one want to bury their entire head into the tail!
