BANDAI SPIRITS' prize item brand BANPRESTO has announced the release of the new "MechaGodzilla (1975) Head Night Light", based on the movie "Terror of Mechagodzilla", scheduled for October 2025.
"MechaGodzilla", which appeared in the films "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" and "Terror of Mechagodzilla", is an Earth invasion weapon created by the Black Hole Planet 3 Aliens. Its exterior armor is made of extremely high-strength space alloy, mimicking Godzilla's appearance, and once covered with skin, it looks identical to the real Godzilla. Beyond its appearance, its superior combat performance also surpasses Godzilla's, possessing overwhelming firepower with an endless barrage of missiles, independent flight capability, and a shield that nullifies heat rays, putting Godzilla through a tough battle.
The "MechaGodzilla (1975) Head Night Light" is crafted as a head night light with a total height of approximately 16 cm, faithfully recreating the characteristic details of this version of MechaGodzilla, such as the numerous rivets, the missiles hidden within its mouth, and its large nostrils. It is finished with silver paint to express a metallic texture. The eye parts are made of clear material, and when the internal LED lights are illuminated, they emit a yellow glow.
