After LEGO, the Danish toy company, launched several brick-built models of characters based on "Star Wars," the latest creation is from "Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi," numbered 75430, the "Wicket the Ewok"! It is expected to be released on August 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$129.99.
First appearing in the movie "Return of the Jedi," the "Ewoks," who reside on the forest moon of Endor, are adorable, bear-like creatures. Among the Ewoks, the scout "Wicket" is surely memorable to many toy enthusiasts. After Wicket discovered the unconscious Princess Leia and poked her awake with a spear, they not only shared food and Wicket was startled by Leia's helmet, but they also worked together to repel Imperial scout troopers. The Ewoks, speaking their unique language and shaking their heads, are quite endearing, and their scenes fighting alongside the Rebel Alliance in the film are incredibly cute.
Now, toy enthusiasts can build their own adorable Ewok companion! This Wicket LEGO set contains a total of 1010 pieces, and once assembled, stands approximately 23 cm tall. The rich, furry texture, built up using numerous tooth and claw elements, is quite impressive. The orange hood/tunic is crafted from multiple flat and curved pieces, resulting in an overall pleasingly rounded shape. He can also hold his spear and a snack – simply too cute! This set also includes a LEGO minifigure-scale Wicket and an information plaque, which looks great when displayed together.
