BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan business division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced a prototype for a new product, the "Macho & Nyan Set," which is linked to the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX." This set is part of the brand-new original product series "LINK TRAVELERS," which spans both Shokugan and Gashapon toy categories.
The "LINK TRAVELERS" product line includes the Shokugan product line "SIDE:C" and the Gashapon product line "SIDE:G." Both lines will release a series of original character bodies, weapons, armor, and other accessories with common specifications. The difference lies in the Shokugan and Gashapon versions having their own exclusive color schemes and equipment, allowing for free combination of bodies and accessories from both lines.
The "Macho & Nyan Set," released this time, utilizes the LINK TRAVELERS series' characteristic articulated body design to recreate the two heroines in their uniform outfits, featuring intricate color application and articulated joints. Currently revealed accessories also include Macho's backpack, the Haro with a knit cap, and Gonki, among others.
