From Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, the 『ARTFX J』 series, which brings popular Japanese ACG characters to life, has unveiled the in-development prototypes for its latest works from "Yu-Gi-Oh!", "Yugi Muto" and "Yami Yugi Ver.2". Release date is yet to be determined.
This product is based on the character illustration drawn by animator Takahiro Kagami to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" anime broadcast. Using completely new parts, it brings to life the cool poses of both Yugi characters holding their Duel Disks. Both the dynamic, flowing sculpt of their clothing and the powerful fingers poised to draw cards are faithfully reproduced. Furthermore, two other main characters, Seto Kaiba and Katsuya Jonouchi, are also planned for future release.
