BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure division, BANPRESTO, will release the latest product in its "Grandista" series, themed after HUNTERxHUNTER: the "Grandista - Kurapika -" pre-painted figure. It will be sold as a prize item, with an anticipated release in December 2025.
Kurapika was a candidate in the 287th Hunter Exam, where he acted alongside Gon and Leorio. Later, with Killua Zoldyck, the four became companions. He is the sole survivor of the Kurta Clan, which was annihilated by the Phantom Troupe, and has embarked on a path of revenge to avenge his clan. Originally intelligent, calm, and rational, he becomes neurotic and loses judgment whenever matters involving the Troupe or his clan arise. When emotionally agitated, his eyes turn scarlet, becoming the "Scarlet Eyes".
The "Grandista - Kurapika -" maintains the Grandista series' impressive yet affordable size, standing approximately 27 cm tall. This figure brings to life Kurapika in his sharp suit attire from the Yorknew City arc. It faithfully recreates his piercing scarlet "Scarlet Eyes" that seem to glare death, and reveals the chains on his fingers, creating a tense atmosphere as if a battle is about to begin. His long, slender legs give the overall proportion a very tall and elegant appearance, while the sculpted flowing hair adds a dynamic sense to the figure.
