BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's division, TAMASHII NATIONS, under their S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, has officially announced a new release from the "CineToy TAMASHII" series, inspired by film and television properties. The latest addition is the "Scarlet Spider" action figure, based on his appearance in the movie "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse." This highly anticipated collectible will retail for 9,900 JPY and is slated for release in December 2025!
Scarlet Spider's striking art style and his amusing existential crisis in "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" left a strong impression on audiences. In the comics, he is an unnamed clone created by Miles Warren using Peter Parker's DNA, initially appearing as a villain before eventually allying with Spider-Man. He later returned in the iconic "Clone Saga" storyline as Ben Reilly, named after Peter's Uncle Ben and Aunt May's maiden name.
This S.H.Figuarts Scarlet Spider stands approximately 16 cm tall, faithfully bringing his cinematic look to life as an action figure. The sculpt meticulously recreates his lean, muscular physique, and even the torn edges of his blue hooded vest are finely detailed! The paint application perfectly captures the animated film's comic-inspired lighting effects, utilizing spray and printing techniques to achieve a 2D shaded visual style, flawlessly replicating his appearance from the movie. Accessories include an alternate Ben Reilly head sculpt with messy hair, five sets of interchangeable hands, two web effect parts, and a multiversal travel bracelet. This figure can be displayed alongside previously released "Across the Spider-Verse" characters to expand your Spider-Verse collection!
