Near 1:1 Scale, Highly Restored Classic Details
This LEGO Game Boy adopts a "near 1:1 scale" design, fully recreating the original appearance of the handheld console: including the D-pad, A/B buttons, SELECT/START, contrast adjustment and volume dials, game cartridge slot, speaker grille, and battery cover, all faithfully reproduced with printed elements. Compared to previous versions, the proportion of printed pieces in the entire set has increased, with minimal use of stickers, resulting in superior quality and aesthetics.
Creative Highlights: Interchangeable Lenticular Screen & Game Cartridges
One of the key features of this set is the inclusion of three lenticular (parallax) screen tiles, which can display classic animated effects, such as the falling motion of the Nintendo Logo automaton, and iconic game screens like "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" or "Super Mario Land." The screens can be freely swapped according to the display scenario, adding a "dynamic visual" retro flair to the model. Additionally, two interchangeable game cartridges are included: "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" and "Super Mario Land," both assembled from bricks and freely insertable and removable, mimicking the operation of the real console and recreating the joy of playing from yesteryear.
Compact Display Design, A Must-Have for Adult Fans!
With overall dimensions of approximately 14×9×3 cm, the set is compact yet exquisitely detailed. Paired with a dedicated display stand, it's not only convenient for placement on a desk or bookshelf but also perfectly caters to collection and display needs. The entire set, with 421 pieces, creates a highly detailed exterior and operable elements, offering excellent value for money and tailored for adult players and brick collectors.
A Nostalgic Masterpiece Combining Retro, Quality, and Creativity!
The LEGO 72046 GAME BOY is not just a tribute to a classic console; it combines high fidelity, creative design, and compact collectibility. The printed details, lenticular screen effects, and interchangeable cartridge design all ignite fan sentiment.
