LEGO "One Piece" Full Series Sets Debut at Comic Exhibition! "Find the Devil Fruit" Mission Begins

Toy fans! Today, our Toy People editorial team is at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall for the "24th Comic Exhibition," participating in the exciting activities brought by LEGO Taiwan at booth A304! Not only are the upcoming "One Piece" series products, set to release on August 1st, on display, but there's also a giant treasure chest filled with mini treasure chests, inviting you to join the "Find the Devil Fruit Mission." Let's take a look!

First, you'll see the five LEGO One Piece displays, numbered 75636-75640, inspired by the NETFLIX live-action "One Piece" series! From "Windmill Village," "Buggy the Clown's Big Top," and "Arlong Park Battle," to the "Going Merry" and "Baratie Restaurant" that we've previously played with, all are present. Toy fans can get a close-up look at the details and minifigure characters of this new wave of One Piece sets. So, get ready to decide which ones you'll be buying (laughs).

What made the editor incredibly excited today was the sharing session featuring the first Taiwanese designer at LEGO Headquarters, and also the Associate Design Director for the LEGO® "One Piece" series, "Yi-Chien Cheng"! Not only could one feel Yi-Chien Cheng's pursuit of detail in the One Piece sets, such as the first-ever straw hat piece with a buckle, the special Wado Ichimonji piece that allows Zoro to directly hold the sword in his mouth, and Luffy's rubber hands, but seeing the designer personally play with and introduce the sets he led the design of was truly incredibly moving for the editor.

▼ Of course, we had to get a photo of Yi-Chien himself with the LEGO Going Merry, a set he meticulously designed and poured his heart into!

Finally, there's another awesome perk to tell all you toy fans! By completing a designated mission on-site, you can choose one treasure chest from the giant treasure chest. If you open it and find a "banana" piece inside, you'll receive an amazing brick-built version of a "Devil Fruit"! Unfortunately, the editor's chosen treasure chest contained a wine glass, but getting a LEGO treasure chest is still pretty cool~ We hope all toy fans can successfully pick a banana and exchange it for a Devil Fruit!
