This new LEGO 76300 "Arkham Asylum™" is the first remake of the Arkham theme since the classic 10937 "Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout" was released in 2013. Compared to the previous version, 76300 is a comprehensive upgrade in terms of architectural detail, character lineup, and modular compatibility. The older 10937 used a more "playset-style" open structure with 1,619 bricks and 8 minifigures, focusing on scene recreation and story-based building. The new 76300, however, is a "modular building" designed for adult fans. Not only has the piece count increased to 2,953, but the character roster has also doubled to 16, significantly increasing both its utility and collectible value.
Furthermore, 76300 uses the modern LEGO Modular Building standard baseplate (32×32), allowing it to be connected with the Modular series for display. This means Arkham is no longer just a set piece, but a part of Gotham City!
