The popular die-cast action figure series 'METAL BUILD', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has officially announced that a new project, 'EX PROJECT', is currently under development. They have also revealed a sneak peek of the new product, 'Hatsune Miku', from 'Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku', with the release date yet to be determined.
Departing from the METAL BUILD series' previous focus solely on robot characters, the new 'EX PROJECT' will introduce famous characters from Japanese anime, manga, and tokusatsu. This aims to EXTEND the richness of the product lineup, incorporate EXTRAORDINARY stylistic interpretations into their designs, and EXPAND the METAL BUILD series into a wider range of possibilities.

The pre-released 'Hatsune Miku' boasts a cool style that deviates from her official default image. Her slender humanoid body incorporates original mechanical designs from the METAL BUILD series, and she wears clothing parts made from fabric. Her twin-tail hairstyle, extending from both sides of her head, is presented with unique materials and patterns, making fans highly anticipate the distinctive background setting for this Hatsune Miku.
