A new Gashapon series themed on "Mobile Suit Gundam," launched by Bandai's Gashapon toy brand in Japan, "Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX," has announced its second product, "Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX 02," is scheduled for release in November 2025.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX" series features non-articulated Gashapon toys crafted in an SD Gundam proportion of approximately 2.5 head-tall. With dynamic poses, various armaments, or effect parts, these figures, standing at approximately 4.5 cm tall, capture the distinctive combat styles and scenes of Mobile Suits, boasting rich color applications.
1. Gundam Aerial
The second wave of products features the protagonist mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," "Gundam Aerial," the much-discussed Char's Gundam from "GQuuuuuuX," "Red Gundam," and two mobile suits active in the theatrical anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM": "Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II" and "Black Knight Squad Cal-re.A."
2. Red Gundam
Utilizing the charming SD proportions and dynamic battle poses, these figures depict Gundam Aerial firing its beam rifle, Infinite Justice Type-II deploying its head beam blade, Black Knight Squad Cal-re.A performing a kick with its foot-mounted beam blade, and Red Gundam wielding its mace. This offers a greater sense of dynamism compared to typical standing-pose Gundam Gashapon products!
3. Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II
4. Black Knight Squad Cal-re.A
