TAKARA TOMY's toy brand T-ARTS will release a beautiful capsule toy product this August, themed after the pirate fantasy adventure film series "Pirates of the Caribbean"! It's called "Pirates of the Caribbean -Movie Item Collection-" (パイレーツ・オブ・カリビアン -ムービーアイテムコレクション-). The suggested retail price is 500 Japanese Yen per capsule, and there are four types to collect.
Starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series recounts thrilling adventure stories centered around the pirate captain "Jack Sparrow." In addition to the classic pirate ships, the films also feature many memorable treasures. This time, T-ARTS has chosen four items to be rendered in 3D, including Jack Sparrow's compass and pirate hat, Davy Jones' Dead Man's Chest, and Tia Dalma's necklace.
The size of these capsule toys ranges from 2.5 to 10 cm. Based on the current official images, the sculpting and painting are exquisite. For instance, the signs of wear on the pirate hat and the embossed textures on the Dead Man's Chest are exceptionally well done.
