TMNT fans! This time, it's not just a simple 'Kawabunga,' but something that will make you shout 'Kawabunga~ Roar~~!' Playmates Toys recently announced the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla" crossover action figures on their official Instagram! They also revealed that these figures will be released in October 2025 at the US retail chain Target.
This truly spectacular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla collaboration draws inspiration from the 1987 TMNT animated series and the two-season Godzilla animated series that premiered in 1978. The figures are based on the TMNT action figure molds, incorporating classic Toho monster features onto the Turtle brothers, with even their iconic weapons receiving special modifications! Currently, we can see Leonardo infused with Godzilla elements, boasting an impressive bulk befitting the King of the Monsters; Michelangelo embodying the three-headed King Ghidorah; and Raphael injected with the aerial monster Rodan's characteristics.
▼ Michelangelo x King Ghidorah (MICHELANGELO × KING GHIDORAH)
▼ Raphael x Rodan (RAPHAEL × RODAN)
▼ Leonardo x Godzilla (LEONARDO × GODZILLA)
Beyond the facial sculpts that merge the Turtle brothers with the monsters, showcasing a new wild appearance, the action figures also feature many interesting elements! These include the detailed texture sculpting on their bodies, Leonardo's incredibly prominent tail, Michelangelo's head-shaped shoulder armor interpretations, and a weapon lineup infused with monster attack effects. The more you look, the more impressive they are! I absolutely want to collect them all~
▼ A promotional image leaked at SDCC revealed the final unannounced member: Donatello transformed into 'Donatello x Jet Jaguar' (DONATELLO × JET JAGUAR). Combining the tech-savvy turtle with a robot makes perfect sense! Image credit:@CharBonZilla
