Both S.H.Figuarts Yusuke and Toguro (Younger Brother) have been released for some time, and each possesses excellent qualities worth exploring. Let's begin by discussing Yusuke.

S.H.Figuarts Yusuke

The articulation is excellent, allowing for a wide range of powerful poses. The facial expressions are decent, with several variations. However, there are fewer expressions depicting damage or pain, which feels a bit lacking when posing him with Toguro (Younger Brother). As for the Spirit Gun effect part, it's quite small. It would be ideal if a larger Spirit Gun or an alternative effect could be provided in the future.

S.H.Figuarts Toguro (Younger Brother)

To be honest, if you haven't purchased Yusuke, you generally wouldn't acquire Toguro (Younger Brother) alone. Those who collect them as a pair for display should find it quite enjoyable.

However, some things might not be apparent unless they are displayed together. Looking at Toguro alone, the overall impression is quite good. It's just that his facial expression is rather "benevolent," not menacing enough, lacking the aura expected of a villain. As for the muscle sculpt, it's truly well-done.

However, without proper lighting for photography, the layered texture of the muscles doesn't stand out, making it appear somewhat unremarkable. As for accessories, he has none... So, if you purchase Toguro (Younger Brother) by himself, there's really not much fun to be had...

Regarding accessories, it would be great to include effects like punch winds or explosion effects to prevent the figure from being too monotonous.

S.H.Figuarts Yusuke + Toguro (Younger Brother)

This is where the greater controversy lies. Separately, there are no issues, but when played with together, problems arise.

In the anime, after transforming to 100%, Toguro (Younger Brother)'s physique is significantly larger than Yusuke's. In the S.H.Figuarts line, the height can be somewhat replicated, but the proportions feel strange. The main issue is that Yusuke's head is too large, and Toguro (Younger Brother)'s isn't large enough, making Yusuke appear to have a "big head syndrome."

Therefore, when posing them, I made some adjustments, hoping that this proportion wouldn't have too much of an impact.

Additionally, to enhance the sense of impact, I added some Tamashii EFFECT parts, hoping to highlight the "power" aspect. After all, their hand-to-hand combat is considered one of the most classic battles in "Yu Yu Hakusho" (I personally find this battle more compelling than the Sensui fight; Toguro (Younger Brother)'s killing of Genkai created such a strong sense of destiny, and Yusuke also underwent a transformation during the battle).

However, since Yusuke doesn't have a battle-damaged or torn-clothing version, I could only use the normal version for the final poses.

One of the aspects I appreciate most is the distorted faces of both characters when struck; they are absolutely a major highlight of the entire toy. With these, combined with dynamic poses, the sense of power is fully conveyed.

Overall, playing with them evokes a strong sense of nostalgia, as the Dark Tournament is one of my most significant anime memories from childhood. To be able to pose them in my hands today is truly exciting! I hope everyone enjoys it!
