Japan's Bandai Gashapon division, following the well-received 'Capture Squad', is once again releasing the fourth installment of 'Monster Hunter Capture Squad 4', based on the popular game "Monster Hunter". There will be 5 types in total, with a reference price of 500 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in August 2025.
Launched with the concept of capturing monsters, 'Monster Hunter Capture Squad 4' continues the series' characteristic feature of exquisitely sculpting monsters in their defeated, sprawled-out poses, all within an approximate 6 cm size! This lineup features popular monsters from the latest title, "Monster Hunter Wilds": Lockblade Dragon, Gleamthunder Dragon, Beast of Ruin, and Coilfrog. In addition to meticulously carving details like scales and claws, they are also painted with rich colors to faithfully reproduce the monsters' characteristics. The bases adopt the game's world-view of sandy terrain, with the monsters weakly lying on them (the belly-up Coilfrog looks so tempting to touch!), appearing both pitiful and adorable – truly begging to be captured!
