Japan's official Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, has officially announced that the latest limited product from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack", the "HG Med", will be available for sale starting August 23, 2025.
In the series, the Med is an engineering mini MS utilized by the Earth Federation Forces. Its cockpit features a hemispherical transparent canopy, and it moves using four retractable, gripping legs. Two slender mechanical arms perform tasks, while several thrusters on the front, rear, and shoulders of the fuselage control its posture in zero-gravity environments.
The completely new sculpt of the "HG Med" is produced with yellow, black, and clear brown molded parts, precisely recreating the opening and closing mechanism of the cockpit canopy, as well as rich interior details such as the seat, control panel, and joysticks. Additionally, single-core wire parts are included to replicate the power pipe structure connecting the arms to the main body.
For articulation, the shoulders feature a pull-out joint design to expand the range of motion. The mechanical claws on both arms have retractable and gripping articulation, and each of the four legs is equipped with multiple movable axes. Furthermore, the leg extension mechanism can be recreated by swapping parts, allowing for more flexible poses than imagined.
