Japanese company TAITO (株式会社タイトー) has unveiled the colored prototype for a new addition to its popular "Coreful" prize figure series, featuring Marin Kitagawa from the hit anime "My Dress-Up Darling." The announcement was made on TAITO's official X account, highlighting the line's focus on showcasing the vibrant charm of core characters.

"My Dress-Up Darling" is a manga series by Shinichi Fukuda, which began serialization in "Young Gangan" in 2018. It was adapted into a TV anime by CloverWorks in 2022. The story follows Wakana Gojo, who, influenced by his grandfather, loves making Hina dolls. Through a twist of fate, he begins crafting cosplay outfits for his classmate Marin Kitagawa, an avid cosplayer.

This Coreful Marin Kitagawa figure brings her swimsuit look to life, meticulously sculpted to highlight the curves of her waist and long legs. Her fair skin appears incredibly delicate, while intricate details like her platform sandals and pink sunglasses are faithfully reproduced. The top is crafted from a translucent material, allowing her swimsuit to subtly show through underneath. Marin's signature gradient hair color is achieved using clear parts combined with paint, creating a stunning, translucent visual effect that perfectly captures the refreshing atmosphere of a summer beach outing!
