American toy giant Sideshow Collectibles' "Premium Format Figure" product line recently unveiled a new "Cyclops" full-body statue from MARVEL! Scheduled to ship from February to May 2026, with a suggested retail price of 850 USD.
Cyclops, whose real name is Scott Summers, is a mutant capable of firing powerful optic blasts from his eyes. Due to a past head injury, he is unable to control his powers, requiring Scott to constantly wear a visor crafted from ruby quartz; while he often grapples with self-doubt, among the myriad extraordinary mutants, Scott undeniably possesses exceptional leadership qualities. Regarding the complex issue of coexistence between mutants and humans, his philosophy can be seen as a blend of Professor X's gentle approach and Magneto's more radical methods, making him a highly popular member of the X-Men!
This piece stands approximately 59 cm tall, depicting a fierce battle scene between Scott and a Sentinel robot. Soaring mid-air, Scott unleashes a devastating red optic blast from his eyes, focused on the Sentinel robot's head. In addition to the incredibly powerful laser effect parts, the sculpting of Scott's muscular physique, the intricate folds of his X-Men combat suit, and the dynamic flow of his brown jacket are all outstanding; the Sentinel robot head, serving as the base, vividly captures the moment of destruction with parts scattering, and the high-heat damaged debris, scratches, and wear are also rendered with extreme realism.
