Hasbro Transformers Generations Age of the Primes "Commander Class Aerialbot Superion" Unboxing Report (Part: 1) Aerial Firepower Soaring Through the Skies, Officially Entering the Battlefield!

"Transformers Generations" has entered a brand new "Age of the Primes" this year. In addition to the highly anticipated Thirteen Primes of Cybertron, the Combiners formed by multiple Transformers have also garnered enthusiastic attention from fans. Following the Legacy series' Stunticon Combiner "Menasor", the Age of the Primes is about to bring us his fated arch-nemesis: the Autobot Aerialbots' leader – "Silverbolt"!

Silverbolt first appeared in Episode 57 of the original G1 animation. To counter the aforementioned Decepticon Stunticons team, the Autobots also sought to create their own aerial combat unit. They repurposed abandoned unmanned rockets and, with the efforts of Alpha Trion, successfully activated the Vector Sigma, giving these planes life to become the unique Autobot Aerialbots. Despite having a fear of heights completely contrary to his image, Optimus Prime still appointed Silverbolt as the leader of this team. Silverbolt did not disappoint these expectations, proving his leadership capabilities to his comrades. Under Silverbolt's command, the Aerialbot team not only possessed excellent aerial strike capabilities, but the five-member combined super warrior "Superion" (also translated as "Supurlion") later became a powerful force for the Autobots, even traveling through time to save Orion Pax before he was upgraded to a Prime, thus profoundly impacting the fate of Cybertron!

This Age of the Primes version is Hasbro's latest reinterpretation since the 2015 Combiner Wars series. Adopting the Commander Class specification, it includes Silverbolt and Superion's combining components. The former can transform between robot mode and Concorde jet mode, while the latter can transform into Silverbolt's thruster, command turret, and most importantly – the limbs and chest armor when combining into Superion. The multiple play patterns are quite captivating, so let our unboxing report take all you toy enthusiasts to experience his charm!

▼ The front of the box, with brand new box art that is refreshing yet evokes nostalgia for the original animation's storyline.

▼ The back clearly reveals the various play patterns of this Age of the Primes Silverbolt. A grand combination is definitely every boy's ultimate dream!

▼ The side features a character portrait of Superion. As the Autobots' first Combiner, he undoubtedly holds an unshakable position in the hearts of fans!

▼ Including the previously released members, plus this Silverbolt, we have already assembled three-fifths of the Aerialbots!

▼ The top of the box features the thirteen ancient Primes, the main focus of the Age of the Primes series. We believe everyone is getting more and more familiar with them, right?

▼ First, let's start with Silverbolt's vehicle mode. His appearance, naturally, pays homage to the G1 design of the Concorde jet, which is quite different from the military-style fighter jets of the Decepticons.

▼ The unique fuselage lines are fully reproduced, and the detailed sculpting is also very beautiful.

▼ The various details on the fuselage are truly worth appreciating and savoring.

▼ Its underside can open three landing gears (the wheels are non-articulated), allowing it to stand steadily on the ground.

▼ "Whoosh~ that's a loud bang!"

▼ Don't forget to find your previously released Slingshot and Air Raid. Aerialbots, prepare to assemble!

▼ In addition to Silverbolt's main body, this set also includes this giant thruster formed by the combining components.

▼ "Docking preparation, 3, 2, 1, complete!"

▼ By combining the thruster with Silverbolt's main body, it can be enhanced into a larger, more sci-fi-looking transport plane.

▼ I really love this kind of detail-rich design!

▼ Do you all like this original design of the jet + thruster?

▼ Once again, side-by-side with the two jets, can you feel how much larger it is now?

▼ Next, let's look at the robot mode. This design almost completely aligns with G1, quite effectively presenting the vintage feel of the original animation.

▼ The head sculpt is naturally based on the animation, with super high还原度 (accuracy)!

▼ The articulation mechanism is also excellent; dynamic combat poses or static standing poses are all no problem.

▼ The thruster can also transform into a command turret to complement Silverbolt, providing an all-in-one offensive and defensive enhancement.

▼ Silverbolt's main body height is comparable to a Voyager Class figure, making the height difference clear at a glance.

▼ Let's look forward to the arrival of the last two members!

▼ After seeing the robot and jet modes, it's time to check out the grand combination! First, prepare Silverbolt's main body for transformation, then disassemble the thruster, and you can see the outline of the giant robot!

▼ By combining all the aforementioned components, you get Superion's main skeleton. You can clearly see that the design of the limbs also follows the pattern of his arch-nemesis, the Stunticon Combiner Menasor, with a base skeleton first, and then the four team members are attached to complete the final form.

▼ A sturdy back view; he is the man who can shoulder the sky (Manly man~♫,).

▼ The head sculpt also follows the animation, reproducing its visor and faceplate design.

▼ The rifle even offers two ways to hold it. The first is the straightforward method of inserting the peg into the fist.

▼ Or, by slightly bending the stock, it can be equipped using the square peg on the forearm.

▼ Once combined into Superion, the inherent dominance of a Combiner naturally emerges.

▼ Next, let's try this: combining the two previously released jets with the main skeleton. The arms have the same mechanism as Menasor; after attaching Slingshot, the upper and lower joints are extended, which not only separates Slingshot's upper and lower body but also allows the entire arm to extend to its normal length.

▼ The lower leg also adopts the mechanism previously used by Menasor.

▼ After inserting Air Raid into the back of the lower leg, it will press down on the mechanism at the very bottom, causing the two hinged panels in the center of the lower leg to flip out and block the central gap.

▼ Three-fifths of Superion, making a grand appearance!

▼ With the addition of other members, Superion's outer silhouette becomes even more natural.

▼ It's truly exciting to anticipate the day the grand combination is complete!

▼ And that concludes this unboxing report for the Age of the Primes Commander Class Aerialbot Silverbolt. The new interpretation and design, different from previous versions, is truly a striking selling point. We urge everyone to get one and experience this interesting creativity firsthand! See you in the next unboxing report!
