BANDAI SPIRITS' immensely popular 'Ichiban Kuji' brand, where every draw wins a prize, has announced the latest product commemorating the 30th anniversary of the anime 'Mobile Suit Gundam Wing': 'Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary', slated for release in January 2026. This product is currently exclusively available for purchase on the official online store 'Ichiban Kuji ONLINE'.
Airing in 1995, 'Mobile Suit Gundam Wing' is set in After Colony (A.C.) 195. In defiance of the Earth Alliance's military rule, space colony residents launched 'Operation Meteor,' disguising five state-of-the-art, high-performance mobile suits, 'Gundams,' as meteors. Along with their pilots, they descended to Earth to destroy the military facilities of the special forces OZ. During its descent, the protagonist Heero Yuy's Wing Gundam was shot down. While operating under a disguised identity on Earth, he encountered Relena Peacecraft, the daughter of the Alliance's Vice Foreign Minister. Though both sought to change the world, their differing approaches set the wheels of a new era in motion.
'Ichiban Kuji Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary' will incorporate a wealth of elements from the series, including characters and Gundam mobile suits, to offer various figures and merchandise. The grand prizes for A Prize, B Prize, and LASTONE Prize have been revealed in advance, featuring cool figures such as the 'Wing Gundam Bust,' 'Heero Yuy Character Figure,' and 'Wing Gundam Zero EW Bust' respectively.
