Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's affordable small-scale monster figure series "MONSTERS CHRONICLE" is releasing a new product based on the anime "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" – the "Ancient Gear Golem" pre-painted figure. It will retail for 8,580 JPY and is scheduled for release in January 2026!
The 8-star monster card Ancient Gear Golem cannot be Special Summoned; it can only be Normal Summoned by Tributing 2 monsters. During the turn Ancient Gear Golem attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step, and it possesses a piercing effect. In "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX," it is a classic card used by Professor Chronos de Medici of Duel Academy.
This MONSTERS CHRONICLE Ancient Gear Golem stands approximately 11 cm tall and captures the dynamic pose of Ancient Gear Golem performing its "Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound" attack, inspired by the card's illustration. The mechanical structure of the main body is sculpted with precision, meticulously recreating the dents on its metallic surface and the shapes of its gears! The base features smoke and dust effects, and the inner side is engraved with a scene reminiscent of the Spell Card "Geartown" illustration, enhancing the overall impact. It can also be paired with the simultaneously released "E. HERO Flame Wingman" to recreate the scene from the first episode of the anime where Professor Chronos battles Jaden!
