As the second season of the American horror-comedy series "Wednesday" recently launched on NETFLIX, the Danish LEGO toy company officially announced a brand-new set from the series yesterday (7th). This article will introduce set number 76785, the "Thing's Apartment"! It is scheduled for release on October 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$89.99.
Adapted from "The Addams Family" and starring Jenna Ortega, "Wednesday" tells the story of the dark maiden of the Addams family, Wednesday Addams. After resorting to extreme measures for her bullied brother, releasing piranhas into the swimming pool to attack the bullies, she is expelled. She transfers from a regular high school to Nevermore Academy, a gathering place for all sorts of peculiar individuals, a veritable haven for outcasts. Initially determined to escape Nevermore Academy, Wednesday later finds herself embroiled in a series of murders by a terrifying monster and decides to uncover the culprit, all while exploring her unique abilities amidst the perplexing campus life.
This set contains a total of 828 pieces. Once assembled, it forms a 23 cm long travel case model with a complete exterior design that can be unfolded. When opened, it reveals a two-story scene featuring a bed, a chair, black nail polish, hand cream, and a brick-built "Thing." You can use Thing to interact with the shower mechanism, play games, and swap parts to recreate the look of painted black nails – it's incredibly fun! Additionally, this set includes a LEGO Friends series Enid Sinclair mini-doll, a mini-figure scale Thing, and a treasure chest piece that serves as a miniature suitcase.
