As the second season of the American horror-comedy series "Wednesday" recently premiered on NETFLIX, the Danish LEGO toy company officially unveiled a new set from the series yesterday (7th). This article will introduce set number 76786, "Morticia's Cottage"! It is scheduled for release on October 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$109.99.
"Wednesday," adapted from "The Addams Family" and starring Jenna Ortega, tells the story of the dark maiden of the Addams family, Wednesday Addams. After unleashing piranhas in the swimming pool to attack bullies who tormented her brother, she is expelled from her regular high school and transferred to Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts and unique individuals. Initially determined to escape Nevermore Academy, Wednesday finds herself embroiled in a series of murders committed by a terrifying monster, prompting her to uncover the culprit while exploring her unique abilities amidst the perplexing campus life.
This set contains a total of 1002 pieces. Once assembled, it forms a 21 cm tall two-story cottage and the Addams Family's black car. Although not explicitly stated on the LEGO official website, this set is believed to be based on the content of the first episode of "Wednesday" Season 2, depicting Morticia's appearance after taking on the role of fundraising committee chair for the gala, moving into Rotwood Cottage, and renovating it. The grey and black main facade, accented with red flowers, is quite striking, and the sides feature beautiful floral window pieces. Turning to the back reveals the interior of six rooms. The editor personally absolutely loves that black car!
▼ Minifigures include Wednesday Addams, Morticia Addams, Lurch, and Bianca Barclay.
