BANDAI SPIRITS' incredibly popular "Ichiban Kuji" (一番くじ) series, known for its guaranteed-win lottery, will release a new product featuring the popular IP "MOOMIN" – "MOOMIN ~The door is always open~". The suggested retail price is 880 JPY per draw, and it is scheduled to launch on October 11, 2025!
"MOOMIN" is a series of illustrated characters created by the Swedish-speaking Finnish author Tove Jansson. The Moomin family is a family of forest-dwelling trolls (not hippos!) with large noses and round bodies. Full of curiosity, they live a carefree life with their good friends in Moominvalley.
This "MOOMIN Evening Breeze ~The door is always open~" is a special release to celebrate Moomin's 80th anniversary, featuring prizes across different tiers, from A to H, including the Last One Prize and Double Chance Prize. In addition to the super cute visual illustrations, the official release has provided a sneak peek at the A Prize Moomin-shaped waffle maker producing Moomin-shaped waffles, the B Prize Moomin-shaped teapot, and the C Prize 80th-anniversary mug. The teapot is crafted in the iconic red-roofed, blue-walled style of the Moominhouse, while the teacup features engravings of Moomin characters on its inner wall. All items are presented with gentle-toned glazes, and when paired with the adorable shaped waffles, they create an incredibly soothing afternoon tea set!
According to current text information, Prizes C through H will respectively be plush doll keychains, handkerchief towels, comic-style clear rubber coasters, "Everyone Gather!" shaped plates, and mini mug collections. Detailed prize information will be announced at a later date, which is highly anticipated!
