Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO, known for its "GLITTER&GLAMOURS" series featuring dazzling and captivating female characters, will release its latest "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" themed product: the "Shinobu Kocho" prize figure, slated for release in August 2025.
In "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", the highly popular female character with immense strength and delicate beauty, the Insect Hashira "Shinobu Kocho" (胡蝶しのぶ), is one of the nine Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. She pioneered the Insect Breathing style and is proficient in medicine and pharmacology, serving as the master of the Demon Slayer Corps' medical facility, the "Butterfly Mansion". Although she always wears a gentle smile and claims to seek peaceful coexistence with demons, she constantly suppresses her inner rage and hatred towards demons, always restraining herself from losing control.
The "GLITTER&GLAMOURS Shinobu Kocho" prize figure, at a substantial size of 22 cm, faithfully recreates her brilliant haori, reminiscent of butterfly wings. The delicate mesh pattern and the gradient from light green to pink exude an elegant charm. With an elegant yet mysterious smile on her face, one hand gently touches her face while the other lightly pulls her sleeve, showcasing her graceful side while simultaneously concealing her Nichirin Blade beneath her haori, hiding her inner killing intent.
