World-renowned TV and film special effects company WETA Workshop's "MASTERS COLLECTION" series, known for its luxurious specifications and master-level sculpting, recently announced a new release from the epic fantasy "The Lord of the Rings": the "THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING" 1/6 scale diorama statue! Limited pre-orders will open on August 25, 2025 (PDT).
This highly ambitious statue depicts the Fellowship of the Ring walking deep within the Mines of Moria. The WETA production team once again went all out, creating a diorama that encompasses all nine characters and showcases the complex terrain of the mines, all while maintaining a 1/6 scale. This results in an impressive overall height of 110 cm, delivering a truly astonishing visual impact.
The Fellowship of the Ring ascends a spiral staircase. In addition to meticulously recreating the characters' costume details, the poses of each figure imbue the piece with vitality, such as Legolas surveying his surroundings, Aragorn bringing up the rear, Boromir extending a hand to Sam, and Gandalf protecting Frodo... And if you look closely, you'll even spot the stirring figure of "Gollum" at the very bottom!
