The renowned Hong Kong action figure toy brand "Storm Collectibles," known for releasing numerous SNK fighting game character products from The King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match (KOF98'UM), will launch a 1/12 scale action figure of Benimaru Nikaido in Q1 2026, priced at USD 26.
Benimaru Nikaido first appeared in The King of Fighters '94, making his debut alongside Kyo Kusanagi and Goro Daimon as part of the same three-person team. Hailing from a wealthy background, he is adept at charming women with his handsome looks. Although he may seem somewhat frivolous, his strength is absolutely not to be underestimated. He specializes in combat using electricity. His signature special moves include Raikoken (Lightning Fist), Iai-geri (Sword Draw Kick), and Benimaru Collider, as well as his signature super special move, "Super Raikoken," among others. He is also a veteran character who has appeared in almost every installment of the KOF series.
This Benimaru Nikaido figure from STORM COLLECTIBLES is based on his appearance in The King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match, featuring slightly less exposed clothing than previous iterations. It comes with two interchangeable facial expressions, three sets of interchangeable hand parts, an effect part for his Raikoken attack, and additional lightning effect parts. Coupled with the figure's excellent articulation, many of his in-game moves can be faithfully recreated, including his familiar jumping heavy punch, aerial down heavy kick special move, and even the Benimaru Collider.
