Japan's BANDAI toy company will release an amazing set of Godzilla-themed products, the "Godzilla Character Series Mini Kendama Collection" (tentative translation, コレクタブルミニけん玉ゴジラキャラクターズ), on September 6, 2025! The suggested retail price is 990 JPY per piece, with a total of nine styles to collect.
Compared to a standard kendama, which stands around 18-19 cm tall, this Godzilla-themed mini kendama is approximately 10 cm tall. This allows kendama enthusiasts to carry this small monster-themed item with them, and it also makes for an interesting new collectible for monster fans! The collection includes Godzilla versions from 1954, 1991, and 2023, as well as Mechagodzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, Destoroyah, Gigan, and one unrevealed secret edition. The ball part is printed with the monster's head, while the cross-shaped wooden handle features a very Japanese-style pattern – super cool!
