Japan's BANDAI toy company's GASHAPON Division will release a very interesting series of anthropomorphic animal gashapon, "Perfectly Tanned Animals" (tentative translation, こんがりアニマルズ), in the fourth week of August 2025! The suggested retail price is 300 Japanese Yen per capsule, with a total of eight types to collect.
Are you also a toy enthusiast who seeks a healthy bronze tan and enjoys sunbathing in the summer? Now, Bandai is proving with this release that you are definitely not alone! This "Perfectly Tanned Animals" collection features four animals: "Hamster," "Pomeranian," "Cat," and "Penguin." In addition to having them wear sunglasses and lie in a relaxed posture on mats adorned with cute paw print patterns, Bandai has also created a "completed transformation" version where their bodies are tanned brown. What's incredibly fun is that when you take off their sunglasses, you'll discover that, oh dear, the area around their eyes didn't get any sun! Coupled with their plump bodies and quite detailed fur sculpting, this is definitely a set you'll want to collect entirely!!
