BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. of Japan, known for its popular "Ichiban Kuji" (一番くじ) series where every draw wins a prize, is releasing a new powerful entry in its "ONE PIECE SCULPTURES KING" series, themed after "One Piece." Following "Great Warrior Calgara of Shandora," this year brings a new impactful work that will participate in the "ONE PIECE SCULPTURES KING Summit Battle 2025" sculpting competition: "Ichiban Kuji ONE PIECE SCULPTURES KING Señor Pink ~With Love to Lucian~." The prototype has been revealed early, with draws scheduled to begin in June 2026!
The "Ichiban Kuji ONE PIECE SCULPTURES KING Señor Pink ~With Love to Lucian~" features a powerful sculpt by Keiji Iwakura, with Kana Hashimoto overseeing development. The entire prize lineup consists of only two types, A and B, each with different color schemes. This series utilizes the "Soul Great Image - Extreme" (魂豪示像-極-), a higher-grade evolution of the "Soul Great Image" (魂豪示像) series. Standing at 28 cm tall, it captures Señor Pink with immense tension, creating an impactful battle pose. Keiji Iwakura's signature textured details are meticulously applied to the muscles and clothing. Furthermore, this release incorporates a character story that will bring tears to your eyes...
The scene designed at the base depicts Señor Pink's profound grief and guilt over his deceased wife Lucian and son Gimlet, a sorrow he cannot let go of. The collapsing clock tower, symbolizing their marriage, and the young Señor Pink returning home to find his son gone, trap him in that fateful day, with both his wife and child no longer present. His massive body seems to yearn to break through the clouds, as if flying ever higher would allow him to reunite with his wife and son... The incredibly impactful size and detailed sculpting profoundly convey his love and memories, delivering a full emotional punch and drawing viewers back into the story.
This work will participate in the "ONE PIECE SCULPTURES KING Summit Battle 2025," with voting scheduled to open on October 2nd on the special website.
