The highly popular "Waiting Impatiently" (tentative translation, まちぼうけ) toy series, released by GASHAPON, the capsule toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., will launch its latest product, the "D.Gray-man Waiting Impatiently Characters" (D.Gray-man まちぼうけ) Gashapon, in the fourth week of this August! Each capsule is priced at 500 JPY, with a total of five designs to collect.
Katsura Hoshino's fantasy battle manga, D.Gray-man, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2004, is set in the late 19th century. The protagonist, Allen Walker, is an Exorcist, a holy man dedicated to expelling demons, and also a suitable wielder of God's crystal, INNOCENCE. In the story, "demons" are weapons created from machinery, souls, and tragedy, and their creator is the "Millennium Earl," the Exorcists' greatest enemy, who seeks to bring the world to an end.
This collection directly brings forth the highly popular main characters of D.Gray-man! It includes Allen Walker; Yu Kanda, who always calls Allen "Bean Sprout"; Lenalee Lee; Lavi, the successor to the Bookman; and the golden communication golem, Timcanpy. Reinterpreted in an adorable two-head-tall chibi proportion at a height of 4 cm, the anime's costume details are faithfully reproduced on their tiny bodies. The editor personally really wants Timcanpy~ Not only has its entire body become round and plump, but even its wings have shortened, making it utterly adorable!
