Boss Fight Studio, an American and European toy brand with numerous licensed IPs such as Popeye and The Little Prince, has announced a new product based on the short story "Garfield Meets The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," a collaboration between Garfield and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The "Garfello and Sidekick Odie" articulated figure 2-pack has a suggested retail price of US$44.99 and is expected to be released in Q2 2026!
"Garfield Meets The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is a short comic published in the Winter 1992 issue of TMNT Magazine. It tells the adorable story of Garfield, dressed as a Ninja Turtle, heading into the sewers to introduce himself to the Turtles as Garfello, offering to guard their pizza while they're out on patrol, but secretly just wanting to sneak a bite.
This articulated figure 2-pack includes both Garfello and Sidekick Odie figures. It appears to be a modification based on previously released Garfield series articulated figures, bringing the Ninja Turtle-dressed designs from the comic to life! Garfello features 25 points of articulation throughout his body, with sculpting that faithfully recreates his look wearing a turtle shell. He includes multiple sets of interchangeable hands, alternate expression parts, a pizza cutter that can be stored in his belt, and numerous pizza accessories. Odie features 13 points of articulation, recreating his turtle shell helmet design that covers most of his head from the comic, and his tongue is even articulated to wag left and right! Both figures are highly accurate in appearance and are colored with flat painting and line art techniques to reproduce the comic's flat style. They will undoubtedly look incredibly cute interacting with your existing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys!
