Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO will release a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" themed soft vinyl figure – "Slash", with a suggested retail price of US$110. Limited to 1000 pieces worldwide, it is now available for pre-order at the MONDO Shop, with an estimated shipping date of April 2026!
Slash first appeared in the 1987 animated series "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Season 4, Episode 20, "Slash - The Evil Turtle From Dimension X". He was originally Bebop's secretly kept pet turtle. Because Bebop and Rocksteady wanted someone to help them clean the Technodrome, they secretly mutated him into a mutant turtle behind Shredder and Krang's backs. Unexpectedly, he later disobeyed Bebop, was transported to Earth, and in his first encounter with the Ninja Turtles, he demonstrated overwhelming power, easily defeating all four.
This Slash figure stands approximately 21.6 cm tall. Inspired by classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animation, comic book designs, and Japanese soft vinyl toys, the stylized sculpting showcases Slash's muscular physique and the texture of his shell. His sharp claws and teeth are also meticulously reproduced, and the asymmetrical eye design makes him appear even more ferocious. Details such as the shoulder armor, the skull on his belt, and the claw marks on his chest are presented in a way that captivates the viewer!
The accessories include a rich array of weapons that can be stored on his shell: the Mutant Mace, Psycho Sai, Nasty Nunchaku, and Razor-Spiked Gnarly Knife. This figure can be displayed and played with alongside the previously released soft vinyl figures of "Leonardo / Donatello", "Michelangelo", and "Raphael" from the same series!
